What we learned moving the first ten shops off clipboards
The first ten shops we moved off clipboards taught us who the software is for. It is not the owner who bought it. It is the office manager who has to survive Monday.
Owners wanted reports. Office managers wanted a board that matched the way they already answered the phone: name, address, what is wrong, which tech is allowed to touch that brand of equipment. If we made them relearn their morning, they went back to paper by Thursday.
We still onboard that way. Week one is the office. The trucks come after the board is trusted.
If this is the problem in your office, book a walkthrough or email lisaf@electronapps.com.
